Hi, my name is Maria Loewen. Between becoming a published author, working daily on the farm and in the house, keeping active in my community and in a writer’s workshop, I can’t say I’m ever bored.

I am currently publishing my first book ever; a picture book. It’s a Christmas story of how two siblings save Christmas. I know what your thinking, ‘A Christmas book releasing in mid spring?’. However, I felt God called me to write it and publish it. And I believe it will be something to enjoy for all ages–maybe any time of the year even. Be sure and keep an eye out for it! “A Christmas Prayer”

I have had my share of horses in my life. My dad gave me my first horse when I was twelve and to this day I make sure I have at least one horse in the corral. Of course, my mom’s goats and her mini horse add on to the feeding chore. I don’t mind one bit though. Animals have always had a special spot in my heart. As i continue to post my ideas, stories, and photos, you’ll most likely meet our cat and chickens–don’t forget the noisy geese.
